Sooner or later everyone will get killed in Phasmophobia. If the assignment difficulty is Amateur or Intermediate then the dead person may get some insurance money if they brought along equipment. They can get more insurance money if someone takes a photo of their body.
On the professional difficulty level there is no insurance, although the photo of the dead body may still count for a few bucks as photo evidence. So make sure you get a photo of a teammate's dead body if it's not too dangerous.
