Jobs - Car Mechanic Simulator 2015

Jobs are the foundation of the early and mid-game in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. Managing them effectively and scaling up your tools as the difficulty and complexity increase are the keys to getting ahead.

Jobs are the key to the early and mid-game in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015. Managing them properly means the difference between success and disaster.

The first jobs you get will all come with parts lists telling you exactly what you need to replace. This is a great help since in the early game you won't have any tools to help you diagnose the problems.

Small jobs will come at first, and then they will slowly get more complex. Just make sure you read them before accepting them, to ensure you don't take a job that requires an upgrade you don't have.

There is no need to take more than one job at a time as they will stay in queue on the phone forever. You can also decline as many jobs as you like; there is no penalty. New jobs will come in every few minutes while you have room in the queue. The phone can hold up to four jobs at a time.

The most important thing is that you complete everything on the repair order before you finish. Finishing before it is complete will reduce your profit by about half. Ouch. Make sure you have it fully completed before clicking finish.

As a last note about the work orders, you will notice a star beside most items. When this item has been repaired the star will turn Gold, but there is a little trick here. You can click that star and it will turn blue. This will cause the part to be exceptionally well highlighted when you are working on the vehicle. Not sure where to find a part? Highlight it like this and you should find it nearly impossible to miss. Just remember to turn the highlight off afterwards by clicking the star again.

The job queue can hold up to four jobs, and there is no penalty for declining jobs in Car Mechanic Simulator 2015.
